The twins are growing up.
A handrail in one of the exits of Franklyn Field in the University City section of Philadelphia. Home of the Penn Relays, and formerly where the Eagles played (long, long ago). In this shot we were attending a beautiful graduation.
So many fingers have touched this rail. So many emotions have filled this hallway. Sometimes it’s reassuring to have something to steady your path. Something solid to give you balance. We all need that at one time or another.
This was an outtake that turned into an intake. I like how the foreground branches emulate the modern twin spanned Delaware Memorial Bridge connecting Delaware to New Jersey. Taken in Historic New Castle, Delaware.
