In our minds, we plan the week ahead. 

In many cases we have to.

It’s the only way to maintain a little sanity.

We flit from one thing to the next

Then back.

As a hummingbird to a flower

Going miles per minute

Feeling like we’re getting somewhere

Like we’re accomplishing much.

Change it up today…

Even if only an hour

Let yourself flow

Go with what is presented.

Be free of time

Be free of schedule

Let your mind wander

Like when we were kids


Stare out the window

Grab a crayon and doodle

Feel the energy of accepting what comes to you.

You are so very precious to this world

Allow yourself to breathe.
