holly and nicotine.

There is little color to find this time of year outdoors in southeastern Pennsylvania with the exception of holly-berries, which seem to be everywhere. This photo was taken at the base of a huge holly tree on the outskirts of West Chester.

I broke out the macro lens on this one. I still struggle with it and should probably just break down and find a good video explanation of how to use it online. Any suggestions fellow camera whores?

I do love how the berries all fall into the cracks of the brick sidewalk. It made quite an interesting pattern.

Oh, and then there is the random cigarette toss (not mine) to add a bit of the nicotine element.
